The trail clinics will be held at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds in the small indoor barn. Everyone showing this year is invited to come to both dates.
If you would like to participate with your horse you will need to RSVP with which date you would like to attend - first come first serve for the first 12. You however do not need a horse to participate.

Thursday, April 11th 5:30pm - 7pm Introduction to the Trail Course - with a Focus on training
The first 30 minutes we will cover what is expected of you in a trail class and an overview of how judges score and what they are looking for. Then for 1 hour we will break into groups and go over each obstacle with the basics and how to train your horse for each obstacle (hands on).
To bring a horse you must RSVP by text message to (801) 361-1499. Those bringing horses will need to park their horse trailer in the back. The arena will be available at 5pm for you to warm up, and don't forget your helmet.

Thursday, April 25th 5:30pm - 7pm The Trail class - with a Focus on Showing
This second clinic builds upon the previous one. First 30 minutes we will go over the little details, tips and tricks for trail. Then for 1 hour we will break into groups and do hands on work with each obstacle. We will work on presentation, posture & positions, framing and other commonly overlooked details.
Those who would like to bring horses to the second clinic need to have been in attendance at the first clinic or have a horse that is already comfortable with all of the obstacles. Thursday, May 23rd 5pm - 7pm Practice Show - Fundraiser
The Diamond Fork 4H group will be putting on a practice show - judged events only. Sign up begins at 4:30pm, will begin promptly at 5 with Showmanship. No pressure to have your horse squeaky clean, this is practice. Pick which classes you want to do: Showmanship, Horsemanship & Trail. Judges will be there to critique and answer your questions. If you need to show up a little late, you are still welcome to come. Cost is $10.
